If you live in the UK and are employed or self-employed you may be eligible for Access to Work funding which can cover a minimum of 6 months coaching.
What is Access to Work (ATW)?
Access to Work is a UK government funded grant that supports people with a health condition or *disability such as ADHD, Autism, Mental Health as well as physical disabilities.
*disability has the same meaning as in the Equality Act 2010 this defines disability as a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on your ability to carry out normal day to day activities
Access to Work could give you a grant to help with things like:
Special equipment such as noise cancelling headphones, talk to text software for example Dragon
Travel to work costs if you cannot use public transport
To be eligible you must:
Have a disability or health condition that affects their ability to work
Are aged 16 or over
Are in or about to start paid work in England, Scotland or Wales
One of the following must apply:
Have a paid job
Have a job interview About to start a job or work trial
Starting work experience
